Why speedometer wont work?
Hello! I am a newbie to site and somewhat amateur in DIY.
Wondering if someone can provide some assistance.
When my 1999 Ram 1500 wont shift gears, I was informed to replace the speed sensor and upon replacing with new, all seemed well but my speedometer/odometer is not working unless speed reaches close to 60.
Can someone help with diagnosis/solutions?

Tridacna - I just replaced the speed sensor on my B350 a few months ago, and had the same problem. My issue was the electrical connector. I unplugged it, and cleaned the corrosion from the plug end. After that, I coated it with dielectric grease and plugged it back in.
Works like a charm.
