Default Horn location?

My horn started sputtering a while back, and now it doesn't work at all.
I've looked all over but I can't seem to find where it's located.
I would be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction.
1998 Ram Van 1500
Thanks

Take off the front grill and look near below the driver headlamp assembly.

Usually, there is a tuning screw that can be turned. As the vehicle ages, so does the horn. Just turn the screw to bring it back to the level needed.

No need to remove the grill if you remove the body piece directly below the driver side headlight assembly. That opening gives you plenty of room to get to the horns.

And you can get even more room to work by removing the left headlight assembly. Just lift up the two locking tabs and the entire assembly pulls right out.

Your horn may not have a tuning screw, and I have seen these horns go bad. Not very high quality pieces.

I have a single-tone '98 horn you can have for free if you need it. PM me with your address and pay for shipping and I'll send it to you. Shouldn't cost more than $5 to ship PA to NJ.

Done that before and the pulls tabs both broke. Taking the grill off was the next best thing.

Dodge tried to make it easy by installing these tabs and they goofed in reverse. Very bad system for securing the headlamp assemblies IMHO.
