Default power window problems

I have a 1999 Ram 1500 van Regency Coronado conversion. Passenger side power window not working. I took it apart and it has a cable drive system. Not factory actuator, must have been installed by Regency. The cable is bad and not available so I'd like to replace it with the factory actuator. Has anyone ever done this before? Will it work?

How do you know that is not the factory unit in there? The factory unit should just bolt in place if indeed that is a different after market unit.

Thanks, got it. I found out that it is a factory unit. I found a new regulator for $105. Should be a bolt in.
