Does anyone know if you can retrofit the 5.2 v8 with an electric radiator fan instead of the viscus cluchted unit?

If so what parts did you use?

 

I have not done it yet but from my reading on this and another Dodge forum the best two options are either a Viper's fan or a Ford Tauras dual fan set up.

 

The Dodge Viper is nearly a drop in replacement since the 1st generation Viper engine is a Magnum engine.

The Ford Taurus dual fan setup is good too.

Now, you will need to have a temp probe and relay to turn the fans on. these kits can be had at many of the auto parts stores.

Dave has done an eFan setup in his van two years back.

Also note, there is no benefit getting an eWaterpump. Actually it hurts cooling performance at low RPMs and raises the temps too high.
