Now onto the next problem.
I need to replace the ignition switch in my 2002 B1500. I believe that it is the all in one mounted inside the column. Any tips , hints or tricks you can share with me??

Make sure the van is in park and disconnect the negative battery cable. Remove the tilt steering level if you have one, it should pull out. Remove the 2 shroud screws. Your upper and lower shrouds should be snapped together. To get the lock cylinder out your key must be in it. Then rotate it to the start position. If you are changing the whole thing, ignition switch and all then I do not think you have to take out the lock cylinder.
