2003 Ram Van Conversion
Hi there, I am looking to buy a 2003 Ram Van conversion with the 5.2.
This vehicle has 9500 original miles and it seems to run amazingly.
It was originally bought buy a older gentleman and he ended up never really using it much at all. The interior is a 9 out of 10.
What are the main things I need to ask about and check myself when I am looking at on this vehicle?
Any help would be great right now cause I really need it.
Thanks in advanced.
Sincerely
SurfinSafari

8,000 sounds a little steep to me, but he'll probably get it if he waits long enough. Even though it's very low mileage, it's still a 10 year old car. If it runs ok, shifts ok, idles ok, and there is nothing leaking from the bottom, and there are no strange noises coming from the rear end, etc, I'd consider it for 6500-7000. Keep in mind, you're stilll going to have to put another 1000 in it. Tires are old, hairline cracks and dry rot. Differential needs flushing, fluid goes bad just from sitting around and absorbing moisture. Same for brake fluid. Also time for a radiator flush. Those are just some items off the top of my head. And of course, oil/filter and lube.

Thanks Sparkzz I really appreciate the Help.
I will ask him to go $1000 dollars less so I can replace the tires, fluids, hoses and belts.
and yes I agree if he waits he will get the $8000 because there is nothing like it on the market...I gave him a small deposit so he took it off the market.
I was afraid if it sat up for sale even over the weekend it would have sold.
