Smile 1996 dodge van 3.9 v6: my cruise control fixed

The situation was the breaklight switch: some how is connected to the mechanical part of the system: the brake lights work fine, but the cruise was acting up. Cost me a good research and 14 dollars. Check the brake light switch, The plunger must extended about one inch, it is less replaced, that is my two sent: Great forum, thank you, for the value information.

The brake light switch was the problem. It does work for the brake light, but somehow is connected to the operational part of the Spd cont. part #4565240. The cost: a learning experience and fourteen dollars. My two cents.
Thank you
