Hello everyone, first post!

I recently bought a 2001 B3500 15-passenger van. 5.9 engine, 105K miles. Runs like a top!

Our primary use will be part touring wiith several people/part towing enclosed car trailer. This thing has more power than any other full-size van I've ever had already. Obviously, I'm not building a racer<G>, but I'd like to do whatever I can to make it run stronger, mostly for gas mileage.

I've started looking a little at chips, but I don't know much about them. There are lots of different kinds, with all sorts of claims all over the board. One claims to be a simple plug-in that will give something like 30 more HP and 5 more MPG, all for less than $100 Hard to believe, but is it possible? I'm new to that kind of thing, I don't know...

I would be very grateful for any tips anyone might have to get better mileage/performance. It's an old van, and I'm not trying to reinvent the wheel, so I'm not tearing into the engine or adding a supercharger or anything like that; and I could live with it as it is. But I would love to make it better if I can.

Thank you in advance for any help you can give!
