Default van b250 -89 jerks while driving

Thank you Alloro, Well, I've got "good" & "bad" news, .... I did the "key dance", & where there was no "Check Engine" light previosly, ... there is now a "Check Gages" light. Correct me if I'm wrong, but is this basically the same as saying "Hey! You've got Codes!"?

No, that just means the key is turned to ON and the engine isn't running.

Alloro,

Sorry about the stupid questions, but since it doesn't say "Check Engine", then No Codes are being presented?

................ No Sir. And this "Check gages" light does stay on, until the key is removed, yet, till I did this "Key Dance" that light would only show, as they all would, only on the initial startup of the Van, but then they all would go off.

Perhaps you broke your ignition switch while doing the key dance.

No Sir, .... When the process is done "Normally", that light only stays on momentarily, as all of the other gauge lights do.

I finally got a "confirmed" Check Engine Light. I limped the Van ( due to some bogging down/ Hesitation & infrequent back firing), in to Bethel, Ohio & two friends that work at Smythe Automotive Parts, checked out the wiring that I did in order to see if I had crossed some wires. I didn't. When I left there the Check Engine Light came on & I then stopped at O'Reily's, & a guy named Paul put a "hand held" scanner on the Van. He says that my Front Bank O2 Sensor is bad, but, it will take 48 hours for it to come in. This may sound "Stupid" but in a long about way, could the O2 Sensor be tied in with the Battery?
