Default Tires

I have a 2001 conversion 1500 5.9l and is it just me or does this van eat up the front tires(especially the right front)? I need another set and would like to here some recomendations without going real pricy. I get the alignment done twice a year and keep the air up.
Thanks/Jim

Power steering is the nemesis of front tires. So many drivers just turn the wheel lock to lock without moving when parking. Women especially. Many also like to brake hard at the last second, which is also very tough on the front tires

You do not save money buying cheap tires. Sure Michelins are pricier, but they last way longer and are a safer, better tire than the tire store no name brand specials.

My last set of tires were Michelins. They had about 70 k +miles on them, and a lot of tread left when I replaced them due to age/ UV damage/ sidewall cracking.

FWIW when I first got my van the right tire was ate up also.
After diagnosis, I figured out the ball joints, esp the upper, were bad.
Re-did them and now both front tires are wearing normally...
Good luck

What do you have at the moment? Sounds like you don't have the right ones for your van
