2000 Ram Van 3500 won't start
Hi guys! I've returned again to try to solve another real head scratcher with my 3500 Ram Van, 5.9L Auto/ OD. I drove the Van home from work on June 22, 2012 as usual. My van was running fine with NO issues, but after sitting for a month or so, will not start.I've reset the new PC and can hear the fuel pump on ignition. The starter's turning the motor over with ease, but the van just won't start.
About a year ago, I got some great help and shared some tips from the forum to narrow down my ignition switch and PCM. After installing new ones, my van has run excellentely for a year, but won't run at all after parking for just one month???? Any help is greatly needed and appreciated and thank you in advance.

Hmmm. I'm no expert by any means but I have a 2000 3500 and I replaced the TPS and IAC. Then I tried cleaning the contacts for the connectors on the PCM and after it wouldn't start. I had my PCM reprogrammed and it ran a little rougher at idle but it ran. After a week it wouldn't start again. I went to tow it home and tried to start it for giggles. It did. I drove it home and it died as I got to the top of my driveway. I replaced the TPS and IAC with the orignals and I haven't had a starting problem since. Maybe that's something you could check because before the reprogram mine would run if you gave it a little gas but if you let off it would die.
Just a thought.

Also, Just wondering do you have a check engine light?
