tail light gaskets and side marker

These gaskets have shrunken with age and now leak rain.
Does anyone have a method for renewing them? Maybe ATF would make the material swell up?
I assume I will have to make new ones if I can't reanimate these. Anyone have a source for that black rubber like material of the right thickness?

I've used black RTV for similar repairs. I'll run a bead around and let it dry for a couple of hours. The goal is to make it into a squishy seal but to lose the adhesive proprieties. When you reinstall the light the RTV will compress and make a nice and clean seal.
