I have a 2002 Dodge Ram Van 2500, it was running rough one day and within about 30 mins of driving it like that it stalled when I came to a complete stop and hasnt driven since. The van starts and idles fine, but when you put it in gear (R, D, 2, 1) it stalls immediately and shuts down. I bought a code reader and it pulled up a code for the PCM. I replaced it and the problem is still there. I was checking the plugs around the transmission and the neutral safety switch had transmission fluid inside the plug. I have the part on order and should be replacing that within 24 hours. Does anyone else have a similar scenario? Is there anything else I need to replace to fix the problem?

 

Either your IAC valve isn't working or the torque converter froze up.
