Default Is it just me?

Lately this forum seems to be very sticky when it comes to loading web pages. To me it seems like the ads are bogging down the pages and holding up the loading process.

I have noticed the same thing. Sometimes the page does not load at all, and I have to hit the reload button. Of the several forums I belong to, I like this one's layout the best. All forum's have way too much advertising. I rarely if ever react to any of the ads that appear.

I hate ads. I use an ad blocker (Adblocker+) on my web browser (FireFox). Only ad that gets through is on the right column under Featured Sponsors (the Tire Rack). So I have not had these issues here or any of the web pages I visit.

I have Mozilla Firefox but never use it. I fix PC's as a side job and try to stick with mainstream programs like IE, which are the ones that most of my customer base uses. This helps me when fixing their PC problems. However, I did update my Firefox and I did add the AdBlocker+ and tried going on the website. Amazing difference in load speeds of the Dodgeforum website... and the annoying ads to the side and inline were gone! Thanks for the tip Mobile Auto Repair... it really helps!

I used to use MS but got very tired of it last year. My last program that was MS dependent crashed and I saw no more reason to use them. I switched to Linux Ubuntu and have not regreted it since. Some of my friends still use MS and I encourage them to switch. One has and another one is about to. It amazes me how many think MS products are the best. Simple mabe, but not the best out there. Also not the cheapest either.

About 8 years ago I had a ad-on for MS Explorer that also cancelled the ads. But MS updated to a new Explorer at the time and after that I could not find an adblocker that worked.
