2001 Ram 1500 Conversion Van
I have a 2001 1500 Ram Conversion Van that is having some problems. It started after sitting for a month or so of not driving, put in some gas and it started running rough. It has a governor transducer problem that I am able to overcome by allowing all the panel lights to go out before shifting gears. I thought maybe this was the issue so when I drove it, I realized that it was not the tranny issue. We did a fuel check and needed a new pressure regulator so replace the whole lot for about $200. This did nothing to fix the problem. When the engine gets warm and you try to accelerate, the engine dies. It runs great until it gets warmed up. It sounds like a sensor issue to me, one that controls the fuel, but is affected by temperature. Has anyone experienced this? We have had multiple mechanics look at it and no one knows what the issue is. The only code I am getting is the tranny and it is unrelated to the issue.
