Default Power locks don't work, Help!

My parents have a 2000 Dodge Ram Van that the power locks started doing whatever they wanted for a little while and now they don't work at all. The key fob unlock button does nothing either does the unlock button in the van. The door cannot be manually unlocked by pulling up the lock thing but i think that's a separate problem. because the door is this way to get out you have to roll down the window then take the key out of the ignition then reach outside and unlock the door then put the key in the ignition and roll the window back up every time you get out of the car.

How do i figure out what this is? We tried pulling the iod fuse and leaving the battery cable off overnight but that didnt make them start working again whats next?

If the locks won't move mechanically, then why would you think they would move electrically?

Its only the drivers door all the other one can be manually unlocked. When you pull the thing up it doesn't feel like its connected to anything and doesn't unlatch the lock
