ohhh, anyway somehow I think I can shoehorn 5.25's in there, and if I can, then I can put 6.5 or 6x9 midwoofers in the doors, and then with the sub, I will have an amazing system, w/o taking up any room in the back where my windsurfing equipment goes. somethin' to think about.

Default JBL's

dgrun... thx for the info on the JBL's...

I just picked up a pair to stick into my extended B2500 van's rear doors... I like to swing those doors wide open and kick out some tunes... the $80 for a pair sounded like a great deal so I went for them...

yeah, it is a great deal. they were normally 250.00, the 6.5" size is still 250.00.

I picked up 4 pair, two for my Shelby CSX and two for the van. Now, I'm looking to maybe get a pair of 6.5" midbass for the van doors and then I can have 3 way speakers up front. oh baby, if only 5.25" speakers will fit into the dash, or I could make them fit in the doors, we'll see in another couple months or so.

anyway, glad to hear I could be of help. those speakers have really good reviews, so a steal at 80.00, I believe. hopefully it's not too good to be true, haven't hooked mine up to anything yet.
