Default 2003 RamVan Rear HVAC

I have a 2003 RamVan 1500 Regency Conversion Van. It's the middle of winter and the Rear HVAC is blowing cold air only. I checked the Heater Control Valve under the hood - it works...I see the valve move once vacuum is applied. The line between the Water Pump and Valve is hot..The other line on the other side of the valve is not.

Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thank you!

The electronic actuator went dead or the flapper door it turns got stuck. It's a PITA to change out if your had is big like a football play, but not too bad if your hand is like a violin player.

Also, if it's just the cable that turns the rear water valve open and closed, then manually move it.

To access the rear HVAC, it's best to pull out the seat right behind the driver seat for access. However, if the rear HVAC isn't the factory one, then the info isn't going to help much.

Did you ever get it fixed or find the problem? I just picked up a 2002 1500 Regency conversion, and the PO disconnected the hoses to the rear, and I'm not sure what else. Any chance you could take a pic of your HCV connections, mine has the vacuum line connected only.

The vacuum line only opens/closes the hot-water-valve to the rear HVAC unit. So, if the rear radiator coolant lines are not connected, then the vacuum setup is useless. I do have a few pixs of the rear unit someplace on my computer. I just did a search and those were not easily located.

The OEM setup from the link shows a RAD that is a combi HX. It does both the AC and the heat. 4-lines run into/out of it.
