Default 2001 3500 possible relay problem??

Hello: I have a 3500 Ram Van 2001. the pcm went out, I had it replaced. About 3 months later it started clicking when the key was turned to the on position. It would not start and sounded as if the fuel pump was kicking on and off. I had it towed to a shop and they said it was the ignition switch. They replaced it and when I picked it up the windows would not work (power) the blinkers would not work. so I took it back and they said it was a bad switch and replaced it (3 hours) they gave me a free car wash

About 3 months went by and then it started again, I could keep it running as the clicking was not to rapid and it would stay running in between the fuel pump starting and stopping. as soon as it warmed up (15 min) it would run and start fine. Now it is clicking like a machine gun and will not start.

I have put a link to a video of it.

the first clicking is the relay in the cab and then I took it out and you can hear another relay up under the hood firing off.

The Mech said it sounded like a short somewhere and it was to fast to be a bad relay. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thank you.

First off, check the ground straps in and around the engine and tranny. This has been one of the biggest if not the primary issues dealing with the electrical gremlins of a Ram Van. If you live in a northern state, chances are, the ground straps have corroded badly or just dissolved away entirely.

The next item to find the culprit is jumping over to Geno's Garage and look down the 2001 info. http://dodgeram.info/tsb/2001-index.htm Also, if you do not find it in the 2001, look back to 2000 and forward to 2002. Some TSB and/or recalls overlap years.

One last item to check, MAKE SURE THE BATTERY IS DIS-CONNECTED ... take the cover off of the relay box in the engine compartment. This is located near the battery. Look at the back two mounted leads. Clean them.

Something is amiss with all of those electrical items being random.
