Does anybody know anything about this vehicle!? It has 12" shoes which is the only way i could tell its a 5.9L 360ci and was told it was!? What does a overhaul include. I drove it today and had it stall right in the middle of Main St. It started after 5 minutes of nothing and it runs really funky dunky. Around 50 mph the engine makes a weird rattle noise with the accelerator in a certain position. it seems to like the open road...but like i said it works a little weird. I bought a new fuel filter and plugs but havn't installed them yet. What can be the problem. Please help..this is my home and i need it to run well on the open road!?

 

Heres what seems to happen.

Engine sputters and stalls a little bit.

Idles funky...but only sometimes.

When driving down the road without the doghouse on there seems to be smoke coming from the engined somewhere. not a lot. seems like oily smoke.

i would also like to get my gauges to work!?

I just need a lot of help. Please someone talk to me!

look at the pictures! It's so pretty though! should i try cleaning the carb first?

anyone know what other years will fit this van? so i can go to pick and pull and find parts, what years will be okay?!

I dunno about any of the rest of it, but I'd start by re-routing some of those distributor cap/spark plug
wires so they're not laying on top of one another.
