On the road and need some help
''01 B2500 5.2l. Pulling popup camper down south and got code P0455. Something about leak in Evap system. My MPG sucks can this problem wait till I get back or is there a quick fix I can do while in a campground ? Just changed oil before trip and have 165 K miles Thx

Van eng runs strong. Will be running around FL panhandle for the next three weeks then back north. When I get home I can clear the code and check into it further. Hopefully sub 10 MPG on the way down will get back to my normal 12-13

I often take it out of OD when climbing hills so yes the OD does work. I have the 4.10 rear which does not help. I have a roof rack for this trip and fought a head wind most of the drive down. Kept speed at 65-70 did not help either. I can hear a slight ticking noise coming from under driver door which looks like Evap canister when I first start up. Still runs well. I need to do plugs when I get home as I have no idea when they were last changed New brass cap and rotor and filter only 5k old. I got 13 mpg last long trip towing trailer in Oct.
