Just fantastic

Alternator bearings froze up, snapped serpentine belt.
May as well replace idler and tensioner pulleys while I'm there.

Seems to be no end to these old things.

Great idea on replacing the idler and tensioner pulleys as well. I have found in many cases that those bearing will fail in short order when replacing just the serpentine belt.
