So I had a charging issue where it would charge about 12v for like 2 minutes then drop to no charge. I narrowed it down to the computer. So I got a new one, put it in and now it just cranks over but wont start. Is there anything I have to do? Any help would be awesome because besides this problem the van is good to go.

 

Where did you get the computer (PCM)? Did it come pre-programmed to your Ram Van VIN number requirements? If not, you will need to visit a dealer and have the software flashed onto it.

Some PCM remans or rebuilds would ask for your VIN to automatically flash it for you while others do not. It pays to shop around and know the questions to ask prior to getting a PCM.

 

From NAPA and it hasnt been pre-programmed. I still have the old one so I will just drive to a dealership, or somewhere that will do it. And thanks, I figured thats what the problem was.
