New fuel Pump: will not start

Default New fuel Pump: will not start

Hi, I have 1996 dodge full size van 3.9 MFI. Did install a Delphi FG0368 35 gallon fuel pump: Now the van will not start: the fuel gauge does not move; Any advice, please.

Are you sure you connected the electrical plug at the fuel pump.

Can You hear the pump running when you turn the key on ?

Default Fuel Pump working: but fuel float giving false reading

Now the fuel float is giving a fuel tank, when is not: do I have to drop the tank again or wait to see it is solving by itself.

Sounds like you have a short or bad ground? Like Blandit2 said do you hear it run with the key on ? Also does it start ? If so check fuel presure to.

Why was the fuel pump replaced? Did it not start before the new one also? Have you tried swapping relays around?
