I have been running an Airtex pump for 3 years now with no problems. Have installed total of 5 Airtex pumps with no failures and most of them are over 2 years on the vehicles.

That's lovely that you ripped people off by installing known inferior parts into their vehicles. Bet your a fan of Autolite's patented "never stay on the plug" wires and Fram's "comes apart internally" oil filters. At least you subsequently put the terrible parts in your own vehicle to show solidarity with the trusting customers you buttraped.

Parts companies like Airtex, Autolite, and Fram (also don't forget parts house brands like Microguard are made by Fram) should be PUT OUT OF BUSINESS LIKE THE AUTO COMPANIES THAT ACCEPTED THE BAIL OUT $ from the US govt. Eff those companies, and if you install these parts on CUSTOMERS' cars, than EFF YOU TOO. I wouldn't put an airtex pump on my worst enemy's car- there's a reason parts houses are refusing to sell them to customers.

What is an "airtex" pump??

Have been using Fram filters at least 45 years, never had one fail. What is the problem with them???

Airtex is a company that produces fuel pumps for fuel injection vehicles. Now there had been some problems with them in the past and I did start using them before I even heard that there had been problems. But since using them for the last five years I have not had one fail. The problem that I am aware of was that they would not last for even 1 year, and it seem that most failed in less than 6 months.

Sir, I will not use or recommend any part that is nothing but problems. Yes Airtex did have a problem for a while but I was using them before be comming aware of their past issue. Since using them for 5 years with no failure's then I have to say that record speaks for it self. Three of them are on Dodge Ram Vans! The current fuel pumps works fine!

BTW Microguard oil filters are made by Bosch NOT Fram!

Also most parts I install for my customers carry a lifetime warranty on the parts, and I give a 6 month labor warranty. Now that means if I put a starter on your van and lets say 3 or more years later it fails then I will charge you for the labor BUT NOT THE PART! Now show me a shop, dealer or other wise, that will do that for their customers!

So contrary to your rant I am not taking anyone to the drycleaners (much more polite than your vulgar language).

Hmm, sounds like someone got kicked out of the wrong side of the bed today.

BTW,how many of you old timers remember KLG,Lodge and Prestolite plugs?
I had Lodge plugs in an Alfetta with the 2.0L "Nord" engine and Spica fuel injection. Great spark plugs.

I have never hear of a single one of these brands. Are they European?
