Exhaust smell VS Too rich fuel
In the last week or two I have a smell in the cabin. It reminds me of a "too rich fuel" issue I had some years back. At that point I replaced the mini injectors, separately, over a period of time.
My question: How can I tell if the injector has gone bad? It is running a bit rough. They are $70 each. I would need two.
Could the rough running be the PCV valve?
Or, is my problem an exhaust problem?

Could be a rear door/window seal issue too When travelling with any back windows open, and the fronts open, the air comes in the back and goes out the fronts.
Check for fuel leaks at the throttle body on the feed and return lines, as well as the Fuel pressure regulator mounted on the throttle body, on TBI engines. Don't blindly replace the injectors. They have rubber O ring gaskets that can move out of position when installing or just tear slightly and take a while to degrade before starting to leak.
