Default 1997 B3500 brake rotor question

My trusty work van is in need of a brake job.
She has 230,000 and runs like a champ and still
looks great.
I want to replace the rotors, calipers, wheel bearings, seals,
and do it up.

My van has a 400lb front axle and all wheel abs.
This is according to the sticker under the hood.

It has 8 bolt wheels with 1/2 studs.

Does the rotor seperate from the hub assembly...
or is it one unit? What do I get...whole deal or just rotor?
Which one? I am i need of help.

Dave,
If I were you, I would go to any parts store and pick up a Haines manual on the van.
they are about $11.00. It would be an excellent investment. It shows you how to do everything from electric to interior to complete teardown of the van. They are cool manuals. R.V.

The rotor is part of the hub assembly, so you get the whole deal. Just ask for front rotors, you can't get them any other way.

Been awile.......you were wrong.

the rotor seperates from the hub by driving the wheels studs out.

Problem solved.

Would *strongly* recommend Chiltons.
