Default Insurance.

Well, still looking for the Van. I've seen a couple with no luck, but I'll get it. Now,I have a question, I'm thinking "well, I'm going to get a Van, go away with the kids and wife, have fun,,," but what about the insurance, Can you guys tell me about it? I know that it depends in a lot of factors, where you live, driving record, credit etc, etc, but if I could get a couple of inputs from you .at least I can have an idea about it, you know. Thank you.

I don't recall exactly, but since my van is paid for, all I carry is Liability insurance and it runs somewhere between $300-400 every 6 months - but I'm a really old guy with a good driving record.

I should add that I am in Louisiana, which has the highest insurance rates in the nation.

Same here, older guy with no tickets and nearly perfect driving record. I don't believe in insurance so I only carry liability and uninsured motorist coverage and its runs about $750 per year.

Well, if you're in NJ, you sure better check the underside for rust before you spend your money.
