Default 91 B150 - Backpressure Transducer Needed?

I have a stripped down stock 5.2L 318 as a project. Runs great. I want to block-off the BP Transducer if I can as I think it may not be needed anymore.

I know it works with the EGR, but with my mods it may not matter? Do you know if I need to keep it?

Removed A/C pump, compressor, belt, hoses, everything.

Removed smog pump, belt, hoses to exhaust headers, hose to cat-con (now have all in one cat that doesn't need extra air).

So, without those which work with the egr and exhaust, do I need the transducer to TBI?

It still has the computer, runs great, and gets abt 12-17 mpg depending on what I'm doing without these parts.

BTW - I really want to throw a carb on, but am having trouble finding info.
