My EVAP canister on my 96 B1500 is off, and I cant find the installation strap. Its running OK without it, at the moment. But, I'd like to get in re-installed.

Any suggestions on finding a source for the strap? No luck with my local dealer. Internet searches for mopar 4405796 are fruitless also.

Otherwise, I'll need to rig up something custom to get it installed. Any tips with that would be appreciated also.

 

Same thing happened on my '93 and I just used a generic galvanized strap (the one that has holes in it, comes in a coil) from the auto parts store. Not as nice as OEM but solves the problem.
