I have a 1999 6-cylinder 3-speed Ram van that is showing symptoms of a bad transmission mounted speed sensor... the problem is my van is one of a small group that does not have one. Would replacing the speed sensor on the rear differential be my next best option?

 

It may. Is your ABS/RWAL lamp lite up? If so then the new sensor should have you fixed up.
