Hope I'm doing this right,if not don't hesitate to correct me. My 97 1500 work van has a problem-lately as I go down the road it will act as though it is not getting gas and cut off. The only way to restart is to depress gas pedal all the way to the floor.sometimes it starts and cuts right back off. I have changed plugs and air filter. Advance Auto thinks it is the fuel pump failing ($230+ and drop the tank to change out.) To top it off,it doesn't do this consistently-it can be cold,or warm,it could be after 20 min. or not at all. I have tried adding Seafoam-what Next!!!
