Default Van bucking.

Hi,
I have a '96 2500 Ram Van, the check engine light came on, on my way too work this morning. As it did the van bucked, and kept doing this every few minutes. I decided to go back home as I work an hour away and didn't want to chance getting stuck there. Any suggestions as to what might cause this behavior. I know it needs an oil change, and it has been tuned up within the last 10k miles. Any help is appreciated.
Joe

Well as you know many things could cause bucking or a quick/slight cutting out of the engine. Question have you done any recent work on the motor like spark plugs or wires also does it Buck?skip around 45 MPH?

It would buck at a little higher speed, as far as work on it that had been done a few months back. I picked up an OBD2 scanner and according to the code that came up it was the throttle control sensor. Thanks.

The 1996 B3500 I had acted similar to what you describe but the problem was intermittent and resolved it self. From what I understand it is recommended is too check the wire routing before moving on to other things.

Alloro and the other guys hopefully will chime in with where you should look next as they have more experience diagnosing things like this.
