Default Cold Weather Starting Problems

Hi, If I use my van every day, it seems to start fine. If I let it sit for a few days, it will not start. Turns over fine, just will not start. When it warms up it fires right up. Guessing I have water in the fuel line? California dreaming here in Massachusetts. HaHa

That's usually a sign that the spark plugs are worn and the gaps are too large, or the ignition coil is weak. Bottom line, insufficient spark power in the cylinders.

Thanks Alloro, AAA got the van going after a lot of effort. Tested the battery, and it was fine. He seemed to think it was a sensor causing the problem. Ever heard of that? I will definitely get new plugs and a new coil. Thanks so much for the response.

I've seen hard start issues when the CTS (coolant temp sensor) was bad.
