Won't Start!!!!
Got a '99 Dodge Ram Van 1500 V-6...3.9 c.i. It only has 36,000 miles.
Cranks over but won't start. Pulled a plug and used another plug in the plug wire and grounded it to the block.
It has spark but seems very weak to me from what I remember working on old cars years ago.
It also seems like the battery goes down real fast. Put it on the charger and it back to full charge in a matter of 5 minutes.
Put it on Quick Start (60amp) still cranks over but won't start.
Don't have a clue where to start looking or checking.
Quite puzzling at this time. All input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks~~~Ron

Sounds like a bad battery to me. Regardless of what voltage it tests at, I suggest you replace or test with a different battery before you dive into diagnosing the ignition system.
If the symptoms are the same when tested with a different battery you could have a bad coil, coil is not properly grounded, old plug wires, old plugs, or bad distributor cap.
