Electrical gremlin!
1994 B350 dome lights staying on, only solution has been disconnect the battery. Replaced the headlight/dome light switch and checked dome light switches on doors. I found one switch with lead broken off, just taped it until I can find a replacement. Already replaced the battery because of drain.
This is an extended van with 30" raised roof that's used by my son to transport him in his wheelchair. Problem is he lives 40 minutes away making it a challenge to have a lot of time on. Hope you can give me some ideas.

I'm hesitant to offer advice on a '94 as my experience is limited to the 1999 - 2003 but..
On the later models there is a courtesy light relay in the relay panel next to the fuse panel at the left end of the dash board. It is the topmost relay in this grouping. Sometimes relay contacts can become fused together resulting in an "always on" situation. If you have the same setup (or can track down the correct location of your courtesy light relay) I'd probably check that out next.

I seem to remember having the same problem with my 2000 5.2 Conversion Mark III. If I remember correctly, there is a relay or fuse in a compartment behind the driver's seat that had to be replaced. Let us know when you get a fix.
I'm not sure what you mean by the 'lead broken off, just taped it '
generally, these switches work like this...
When the door is closed, it presses in a small, spring-activated button or lever, which opens the circuit. When the door is opened, the spring pushes the button open, closing the circuit and sending electricty to the inside lights.
Assumign this vehicle works on the same principle, maybe try removing the broken switch altogether, effectively making it an open circuit. Although its taped down, i suppose its possible that contacts are still being made internally in the switch, making it a closed circuit.

if you're desperate, looks like you could pull fuse #2 until you get it sorted out.
