Brake Controller
If you by a Reese controller, they have the universal directions that work well. I've equipped a 2000 B1500 Ram Van and a 2001 B2500HD Ram Van with the unit. You may even do a search under my ID to find the exact model.
FWIW, get one with a nice big bright LED display. This helps a good deal at night. Rolling down the interstate with semi's passing you down a long grade hill can be a white knuckle moment, BUT if you have a good brake controller, the semi wind draft that hits the trailer can be corrected by a "little" finger squeeze on the manual override button. Thus, it will not feel as if the trailer is trying to push your van or pass you up.
