Default ABS and AIRBAG lights intermittant

I searched this forum and a few people have had this same problem, but no one has mentioned what the ultimate fix was.

This is a 2000 B350 van.
Occasionally after "key on" all the dash system warning lights cycle as normal, but the ABS and AIRBAG lights will come back on and stay on. Vehicle starts and runs ok, but sometimes I have no speedometer with these lights on.
No error codes are recorded.
It's an intermittent problem.

The options I found were:
1. ABS sensor (which one?)
2. Ignition switch
3. Bad instrument cluster connections. (I have reseated cluster connections, but no change.)
4. Clock spring needs replacing.
So, what was the real -permanent- fix?

Thanks

The 'permanent' fix for others doesn't mean that's what's wrong with yours. If I were you I'd start by replacing the ABS sensor on top of the rear differential.

ABS sensor or the ABS on the rear hardware is not functioning correctly. Clean the rear brake hardware or replace bad parts.

Or, the clockspring. My cruise control went first, then horn and then the steering wheel airbag. The ABS gauge lights up because of the air bag.

Update on this issue. I seldom use this van and the only reason I have it is for hurricane bugouts. To review, I was having an issue with the air bag and/or ABS and/or brake idiot lights intermittently staying on after engine start.
I changed speed sensor on top of diff (easy and abt $25.00) -- no fix.
I changed transmission speed sensor on tranmission (easy and abt $25.00) -- no fix
Finally changed ignition switch assembly (a PITA and about $140.00) -- FIXED !
