Hi all.

I have the upper ball joint socket. Can I just screw out the ball joint or do I still need to use the pickle fork and then unscrew it.

Use the pickle fork to separate the joint then unscrew the ball joint. FYI, when I did mine I had 6' of leverage and could not budge the ball joints. I ended up using a ball joint press and pressing them out. This stripped the threads off the old ball joint. So before installing the new ones I just made sure the threads in the upper arm were clean and oiled.
