Hey guys! I just bought a 1997 Dodge Ram Van, I believe it's a 2500. It was used as a utility van, so it's gutted, and I'm trying to install a bench seat in the back. Looking at holes in the floor, it looks as if there was a bench seat with the back against the driver's side wall. Would I be able to install any bench I find, that will fit, back there? And if so, the one I've found doesn't have lap belts. How can I install those? Help, please.

 

I also bought a work van that I had to install a rear bench into. I used U shaped pipe clamps from the hardware store to hold the pipe like bench seat down to the floor of the van. I used SS bolts and nylok nuts with large washers into holes I drilled into the floor of the van, then covered with rubberized spray paint. You can get belts from a salvage yard and bolt them to floor in the same way.

 

When I installed the third bucket seat in my van I also used large washers but I used one on each side of the floor for extra support.
