Default Tire Balancing Beads?

The first van I owned was back in the 70's and it had aluminum wheels with tape /stick on wheel balancing weights -- it seems that the weights were always coming off. I found a product at Montgomery Wards that was a circular plastic tube filled with about 2 pounds of BBs and oil. This mounted onto the studs before the installation of the wheel. They balanced the tires dynamically once you got above 25 mph. I paid like $20 for a pair of the balancers. I loved them but made a mistake when I sold the van and let the balancers go with it.

I have looked online for that same or similar product. There is a site that sells them for Hummers and RVs but they want $450. Then there is a sight that sells ceramic beads that you actually place inside the tire.

Do any of you use such a product or have experience that's more up to date than mine? Do you know of a product that is more affordable than the $450 set? Are any of you using the balancing Beads?

Centramtic is what you are looking for. I had a set on an old truck of mine w/ mud tires what were a pain to balance.
