no cruise control

I have a 95 B2500 conversion van with non working cruise. Where should I star looking for the problem?

Any vacuum leaks or blown fuses?

I had a '94... the cruise control stopped working when the hose fell off the vacuum canister... canister located behind and below the passenger headlight accessible via a removeable panel under the headlight

I have checked to make sure it was plugged into the vacuum pod, I think I will put a guage on it there to check for vacuum.
