Need help today please (ABS, fuel relay, fuse box ?s)
Please link me to any feeds discussing mid 90s Ram Van ABS, fuse box, fuel pump relay, ECU/CCM computer troubles relevant to the following....
I need to review a question about my fuse box. My #5 slot for the ABS has NO CONNECTORS. Was the ABS an optional upgrade on the 94-95' Dodge Ram vans? My ABS warning light stays lit all the time and just recently my right front brake tries to drag after 30 minutes or so of continuous driving.
HELP please?
I have been waiting for others to scan a few pages of the mid 90's Dodge FSM's to answer some questions. Still have yet to locate a source. Please share with me via my blog link below with any updates. I will make the available to all for free soon as I find them as well.

Common problem on these vans is that the rubber brake hose at the wheel deteriorates inside and will collapse, trapping pressure on the caliper and making them drag. Cheap fix is to replace the hose on both sides for $10--15 each.
Hmmm, This is interesting. I won't be of any help to you, but my fuse slot 5 is empty and has no connectors in it. Also, my ABS module is disconnected. I do have a wheel speed sensor in the pumpkin and the associated wiring and ABS module. I thought may my fuse box was changed out? This is on my 1994 Dodge B350.
OK, this may help some. The RWAL (rear wheel anti-lock) brake systems use fuse 12 for their power. There will not be a fuse in position 5, that is reserved for 4 wheel ABS systems. I just recently bought my van and noticed that the ABS and Brake lights didn't come on in the dash. I also noticed that the RWAL brake module was unplugged. So today I plugged in the module and got my lights to come on in the dash. That's when I started chasing the wiring. I found that someone along the way disconnected the connector from the parking brake switch probably in an attempt to fix the light. I have a bit more troubleshooting to do, but will eventually figure this out. I tried grounding the single diagnostic connector near the RWAL module to get the ABS light to blink the codes, but that does nothing. I also see that in ALLDATA they recommend to ground pin 13 of the ALDL and count the flashes. It's currently raining out, but when it stops I will try that.
Dewaynep-
Where is the RWAL brake module located? maybe unplugging mine will make the dash lights go off at least and maybe confuse the computer to stop my problems.
Where is the connector you mention for the Parking brake switch? Are you saying the mechanical metal rod is disconnected from the cable pull?

The RWAL module is under the glove box. Just open the glove box and remove the black plastic tub. you'll see it under there. The plug is on the right-hand side. If you unplug it, the lights should go out.
The parking brake switch is attached to the parking brake pedal. it is what turns the PB light on when the PB is engaged. Mine was just hanging there. I haven't been able to re-attach it yet, maybe tonight. Also I will try to get some codes out of mine so I can see what is wrong.
