Brake Band exchange on A518/46RH

Brake Band exchange on A518/46RH
Hi Guys!
As it seems the reverse band of my automatic transmission has reached the end of it´s life. Not sure, if any damage on the drum happend, but i am thinking of exchanging that in advance as well.
I found some information (shop manuals, videos) that tell me, it is not a big issue to do that. Ok, gearbox in/out and so on is quite some work...
But you never know - and here we are at my main questions:
1. how can i clearly identify my gearbox
2. Are any further hints availiable for exchanging bands and rear drum?
The Van is a 91 Dodge Ram Maxi Van B350 with 5.9l, Overdrive (A518?).
Can anyone help getting that think back on the street please? :-)
