transmission 46re 1999 swap to 46re 2001 2nd Gen - any thoughts
I am planning an install of a 2001 46RE trans into my 1999 van. the 1999 46RE is Gen 1 and the 2001 is Gen 2.. all mounts are likely the same.
Anyone had success or failure?
any PCM issues or code issues?
known issues: replace Neutral safety with aftermarket product.

replace gov. pressure sensor to 1999 version and rewire as needed using the appropriate plastic connectors.
unsure if I need to change the transducer as well?
wondering if any PCM issues arise or any other folks have tried and succeeded or failed?
