Do I need to disconnect the battery in order to install a new computer in my dodge ram 3500 van? Any advice welcome.
Need to...no, is it a good idea...yes. I've done it without disconnecting the battery and never had an issue. I hate having to reprogram the radio, so it's easier to just swap it, but that's me.
