Anyone here added keyless entry to one of these vans? I have a 1992 B350 and got a keyless entry kit. Based on the wiring diagram it is a "type c" system. I hooked it up per the kit instructions tapping into the passenger side lock/unlock wires (kit said either side would work). Now it works great except for the passenger door (all other doors work with fob).

Any suggestions?

 

Hard to say without a wiring diagram showing what you did, but it could just be a bad splice from where you tapped into the wiring over to the passenger door actuator.

 

Thanks for the response. I figured it out. I was tapping into the "orange and violet" wires instead of the "orange and black". Working good now.
