Guys -

I had this happen to me today. I thought I post the YouTube video just in case it happens to you. All you need to do is remove the rubber around the base of the shifter and pull the level out of the way...

There was a recall on this. Had it happen to my 02 1500 van. Don't know what the recall number was.

Too funny.

Even though they're 2 completely different animals plus the fact base package was a Mercedes, the LX platform has the same issues. I carried around a flathead since this last summer when the spring broke off my pink thingee.
