I haven't gone to a truck scale to weigh my van, but am curious what it weighs

When I recently got my smog check done, there is mention of it being 4250, is that a generic weight? or did they do some type of actually weighing it? A friend told me when they do smog, they actually weigh the vehicle on the dyno

 

Without knowing what van you are talking about, what options, etc. no one could possibly know. That being said, your GVWR should be listed on your door sticker.

 

My Elk Conversion sticker says that the van is 4960 lbs..

I think 4250 is the generic weight

 

ok, I will look at the door sticker later... I have at least 2 of them, withing about a foot of each other......
