jimbo74,
does the message I got on the ebay page you suggested mean anything to you? I attach a screen shot.
When I typed in my specific van info on the ebay page you sent to me, this message popped up. Can you SEE the attached image?
Since all this has been going on from Friday afternoon, Saturday and now Sunday, it is probably fruitless to call any vendor and verify that MY specific part is available and can ship in a timely fashion... 8 nights till I have to move.
I am NOT refusing to purcahse, trying to purchase the right part the first time as my options and time in this campground on this island are very limited...
I spent most of Friday and all of Saturday cleaning grounds, dressing wires and trying to troubleshoot that it actually IS the computer and not just a bad connection somewhere. Throwing $100-$400 away on a fix that is not correct is not going to help me. I have not had NO BUS show up since Thursday, although the engine still dies, but restarts.
Monday I will make some calls...
I have another lead from another source so I will try both yours and his...
thx for your help

Yeah unfortunately he's away from home and ebay/paypal will only permit shipping to your home address. The remanufacturer located in Florida does have a website, its likely to be allcomputerresources.com. For what its worth, this particular source has extremely good reviews overall but I feel their product is $100 overpriced.
I actually keep a spare PCM, coil and CPS with me now

O'Reilly sells it for about $150 if they have it. Website says to call your local store.
CarId.com - $125 w/ $75 refundable core deposit

Amazon and Ebay - about $200

My personal experience with my 02 1500 ram van was an intermittent run/stall with "no bus" at the stall. Sometimes restarting within a few minutes or less. As days passed and still having the "no bus" situation, it finally would not start, just crank.
The problem was fixed with a replacement PCM. Let us know what your fix is.
